Coastal Hills Community ProjectCHCP is your community organization. The Coastal Hills Community Project was founded by local residents in 2000 in an effort to connect the diverse residents of the coastal hills surrounding Fort Ross School. Currently, these are the projects the organization maintains:
• Community Market: The Sunday Community Market, held on the grounds of Fort Ross School, is a showcase of the incredible bounty produced, grown, baked, and created by your friends and neighbors. • CHCP Bulletin: The email Bulletin is an integral part of connecting the coastal hills community. The service is free and open to all members of the community to share, inform, and notify subscribers of items of general interest to residents of the coastal hills. Fort Ross Conservancy Find out more about this historic treasure on your doorstep. Fort Ross State Historic Park is the only historic Russian settlement in what is now the United States. It was founded as a colony of artisans, farmers, and hunters in 1817. You can explore both its fascinating history and the many volunteer opportunities available at the Fort and its surrounding public beaches and campgrounds.

Gualala ArtsWe are a community arts organization, located in Gualala, California, dedicated to promoting public interest and participation in the arts since 1961. Here you can find art exhibits, workshops, and classes, classical and popular musical performances, theater, lectures, and much more. See the Events Calendar. We provide a wide variety of programs, and the Arts Center may also be rented for your program, as well as weddings and other private functions.
